Drawing from the Victoria & Albert Museum Archive, this limited edition necklace reinterprets the dramatic, intricate ruffles of an 18th-century court dress. Deep pink Rhodolite Garnet beads catch the light with every movement. Known as the stone of inspiration, Rhodolite brings a beautiful, grounding energy to the wearer.
To capture the soul of the era, I used an 18th-century ribbon to create the intricate woven textures found within the ruffles. Using the ancient lost wax casting technique, the delicate, ornate patterns of the original ribbon are immortalised in gold-plated recycled silver.
